Melissa has served Indiana Masters as Vice-Chair and then LMSC Chair. She has directed 2 Mile and 6 Mile Long Distance National Championships and was three times the meet director for the Fall Classic Great Lakes Zone Championships. She has been a key volunteer for several National Championships held in Indianapolis. Her national service has included serving as Great Lakes Zone Chair and as a member of the Marketing Committee.
