A member of Montana LMSC since the early 1990’s, Ellen first coached a Masters group at the Missoula YMCA. She quickly became involved in LMSC leadership and served as the chair for more than one term. She also served as newsletter editor, registrar, and sanctions chairs for many years, continuing through 2010. Ellen moved her Masters team to the University in 2002 and served as meet director for the Montana State meet (SCY) each time it took place in Missoula, about every 3 years. She contributed workouts via the LMSC website for swimmers who train on their own and often visited other cities in the LMSC to share her knowledge and love of the sport of swimming.
