A valued and continuous USMS member since 1984, Dick swam, coached, and ran meets and open water events in Wisconsin LMSC through the years. Aside from being the commissioner of Masters Swimming at the Badger State Games for 23 years, Dick chaired the Wisconsin LMSC for ten years, and served on the USMS Legislation committee. He hosted two USMS Open Water National Championship events, and helped open new sites for Masters/adult workout groups in the Madison area schools. Dick’s perseverance and service at the local and national level provided benefits to adult swimmers in the Madison area.
