Doug volunteered to become the PNA Records & Top 10 Coordinator in 2013, following in the footsteps of Walt Reid, who had held the position since the early 1980’s. He submitted meet results to USMS on a timely basis and confirmed with the sanction chair and meet host, so they’d know the task was completed. On the Records/Top 10 side, Doug consistently provided Top 10 reports, by the deadline, for each course each year. He also kept track of Pacific Northwest LMSC records. Doug attended PNA board meetings regularly and since 2019 represented Puget Sound Masters on the board as a “Club Director”. He contributed thoughtful analysis of the various issues.
