U.S. Masters Swimming is pleased to return to Mission Viejo for its 2013 Summer National Championships. Mission Viejo last hosted a USMS national championship in 2005. Swimmers had a great time and turned in great swimming times at the 2005 championships in Mission Viejo.

Sixth Event, Meet Roster and Psych Sheets

There are 1,392 swimmers entered in the meet. With such a large turnout and expected long days at the pool, the decision has been made to drop the sixth event. All swimmers who entered six events have had their designated sixth event removed. The heat/psych sheets, meet roster, team roster and a swimmer lookup function are available for swimmers to check their entries. The full meet program is also available in PDF format (10 MB file). All swimmers will receive a printed copy of the meet program when you register at the pool.

Estimated Timeline

The estimated ending times for events each day are shown below. The full estimated timeline for all events is available here. This is only a guide for use in determining the approximate start of all events. We may run ahead of or behind the estimate. It is the responsibility of all swimmers to get to the pool well before their events and be behind the blocks before their events start. All swimmers must check in for all deck-seeded events by the check-in deadlines!

Open Water Event

The USMS 2.4 Mile Open Water National Championship, also hosted by the Mission Viejo Nadadores, is being held Sunday, August 4 at Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point, California. Details of this event and online entry can be found here.

Meet Shuttle Service and Parking

Limited parking is available at the Marguerite Aquatics Center. Swimmers are encouraged to carpool or take advantage of the shuttle service for transportation to and from the pool. A shuttle pass may be purchased for $30.00. A schedule for the shuttle service between designated hotels and the Aquatics Center will be available at registration at each hotel. The shuttle will run from noon until 8 PM on Tuesday, August 6th, and from 6:00 AM until one hour after completion of the last heat of the last event on Wednesday, August 7th through Sunday, August 11th.
