Event Check-In Deadlines

This is a deck-seeded meet. You (or your coach or teammate) must check-in daily for each event that you plan to swim that day before the check-in deadline for those events. Check-in deadlines may be extended if the meet progresses significantly slower than the planned timeline, but no deadline will be earlier than the times listed below. Changes to any check-in deadline time will be announced during the course of the meet.

Exceptions to same day check-in: You may check in for Event #1, Women's 1000 Freestyle, between noon and 7:00 PM on Monday, May 13th as well as between 6:30 and 7:00 AM Tuesday. Women may also check in for Event #5, Women's 400 IM and Event #33, Women's 500 Freestyle after 2 PM on the day prior to the event as well as the morning of the event from 6:30-7:00 AM. Men may check in for Event #20, Men's 500 Freestyle, after 2 PM on the day prior to the event as well as the morning of the event from 6:30-7:00 AM.

Heat Seeding: At the check-in deadline for each event, all swimmers who did not check in are scratched from the entry list and the event is seeded. Heat sheets are generated and posted in many locations around the venue for you to note your heat, lane, and competition. Our goal is to start each event about an hour after the check-in deadline, although events occurring later in the day may have a longer wait.

Scratching an Event: If you decide to not swim an event after you have checked in and the check-in deadline has not passed, PLEASE return to the check-in desk and scratch the event. Our deck-seeding goal is no empty lanes, offering you great competition and efficient meet execution, so please do your part.
