Jim’s service didn’t start at just the club level with the Manatee Masters, where he would arrive early and leave late to put up and take down his club’s pop-up tents. He also served as Vice Chair for Pacific LMSC, the largest in USMS. His wisdom and leadership proved essential to the smooth operation of the organization. He was often consulted on difficult or challenging issues. At the national level, Jim served on the USMS Board of Directors as the Oceana At-Large Director. He also served on the Coaches, Finance, and Championship committees.
