For 16 years, Jeanne served on the Oregon LMSC Board of Directors, taking on  many positions. After finishing her first term as chair, the LMSC needed her services again, so she willing became the LMSC chair again. Jeanne has been described as a leader and motivator. She initiated Oregon LMSC Board conference calling and improved communication to the Oregon Masters membership. She was also vital in recognizing volunteers at all levels of the Oregon LMSC. Jeanne also serveed on the Tualatin Hills Barracudas workout group board and volunteered as meet director for local meets.
