Learning to swim in 2009, Patrick joined the Masters Swimming program at Lifetime Fitness in Rochester, MI and jumped into pool competition with a vengeance! Since then, he has participated in 75% of the sanctioned meets in Michigan. With a similar resolve, Patrick joined the Michigan LMSC Board when he was elected Treasurer in 2011. Patrick immediately effected change by using Club Assistant software to improve the efficiency of the reporting process to the USMS National Office. He has since served as LMSC Chair, and again as Treasurer. Patrick has helped grow Masters Programs at five Lifetime Fitness Club locations in the metro Detroit area. He promoted USMS by displaying banners and having USMS promotional brochures in the public areas. On the national level, Patrick has served on the USMS Legislation committee.
