U.S. Masters Swimming Dorothy Donnelly Service Award

Hailing from the Potomac Valley LMSC, Natalie Taylor volunteered in her LMSC for over a decade. She served as an unpaid Masters coach for the Terrapin Masters while still a University of Maryland student and continued to coach until 2019. She was meet director for the 2014 USMS Marriott Summer National LCM Championship at the University of Maryland and the meet director for the Colonies Zone championship LCM meets in 2015 and 2016. Natalie continued as a meet director and also volunteered to be the console operator and timer console official. In 2016 and 2017, she served as the Colonies Zone chair. At the same time, she served on the USMS Championship Committee for five years, ending that role in 2020. Natalie became the LMSC Officials Chair in 2018, promoting, developing, and hosting one or two annual officials’ training clinics. In addition, Natalie helped host the 2018 USMS National Coaches Clinic at the University of Maryland’s pool. Natalie was an example of a well-rounded volunteer.
