The USMS History & Archives Committee maintains this archive of stories about USMS members who have made a significant contribution to USMS and/or have been prominent members of USMS. The goal is to collect stories about every USMS member who has promoted USMS, held a national USMS or LMSC office, been named All-American, been a recipient of a USMS national award, been inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF) as an honoree, or been inducted into the International Masters Swimming Hall of Fame (IMSHOF). A partial list of swimmers whose stories are needed can be found here.
